changing light socket - problem

Check to see if there is another junction box as part of the original can fixture, perhaps a foot inside the hole where the can reflector was mounted. If so, the hole may not be plastered over or have light fixture components mounted permanently where you could not reach inside and access what inside that second junction box.



When cleaning anything including baby diapers, it is better to sweep off or scrape off as much solid and semisolid material as you can first. (1) Less cleaning fluid or detergent needs to be used, (2) Less of a mushy mess which in turn means that bleaches or disinfectants will be more effective.
