Changed receptacles in bedroom, now no power

My tester is a regular multitester. I'm not sure what you mean by cable or conduit. It's you run of the mill 3 wire romex. One black, one white and one bare ground it's probably 14 gauge solid copper wire. I double checked all the connections, even removed everything and tested all wires individually. Still get no power to any of the wires. I even backtracked to the recepticles that have power. I found no loose wires. Nothing broken or not hooked up properly.
