How do i cange a bad GFCI?

I am not sure how to answer this.

You remove the old one and replace it with a new one, being sure to connect the wires back in the proper spots.

I really feel if you need more detail than this you should get someone experienced to do it.

Change a GCFI


First and most importantly kill the circuit at the breaker box. Remove the wall cover. Remove the plug from the box being careful not to disconnect the wires. Take the wires one at a time from the old one and hook them up to the new one. When finished reverse the process and everything should work fine.
