chandelier Connection

Sorry for the dumb question but I'm putting a new chandelier for the first time but can't figure out the wires in the ceiling.

the new chandelier comes with white, black, and green.

the ceiling box has 2 whites connected to each other, a red and black connected to each other, 1 black wire that's free because it was connected to the old chandelier and the copper that was tied to the ceiling box. The old chandelier had 1 black and 1 white, the black was connected to the free black wire and the white wire to the other 2 white wires.

But my questions is how do I connect my new chandelier wires? Do I connect the white wires together, the black to the 1 free black wire and the green to the copper? Also, do I leave the red and black alone?

Also forgot to say that on the wall it just has a round plug to turn the light on and off, if you go clockwise it turns the light on and the light gets brighter the more you turn it.

This is controlled by one wall spot.

The new fixture connects to the same wires as the old one.
