CFL Flicker

I just bought two stand alone lights with dimmer switches connected to them. I know that a slight decrease in output voltage will cause the CFL's to flicker but they do it a lot. Can the dimmer switches be a cause? Any way to cure the flicker?

CFL Flicker

Make sure the CFL's are rated to be dimmed. Many are not, and those that are, are pricey.
