ceiling light fixture


1 copper wire, 1cord has 3 wires 1 for black connect 1 for white connect what is this 3rd wire, does it go with the 1copper wire to connect to the ground wire?

WE need a lot more details of what you are trying to do.
The wires you are describing, Are they in the ceiling or the fixture? What colour is the third wire? Is this a new install or are you replacing a fixture?
