Question

Ceiling Fan Wiring /w Three Way Switch

Hello, first post here. I've looked all over the place and I can't seem to get an answer to my question. I have a ceiling fan with a light kit and two, three way switches in a room in my house. I would like either switch to turn on/off both the fan and the light at the same time. I have wired it several times and I cannot seem to get a configuration that the breaker box likes. It always cuts the power off in that room. Also, sometimes the power stays on until I flip the switches but i do not understand what I need to do. Here is a picture of my setup that might make more sense. If anyone knows how to wire the system I am wanting up I would appreciate some help on where each wire connects to.

Ceiling Fan Wiring /w Three Way Switch

how many wires are at the light fixture box??

if you're not messing with the 3-way switches, and they worked fine before....
a typical setup would be to nut both the Blue and Black fan/light wires to the Black(hot) comiing from the 2nd 3-way switch.
Ground is self explanatory, and Neutral to Neutral.

now if you do not know which wire is which, then obviously you will need to determine which is the Hot, and which is Neutral.
get a good digital ohm/volt meter. do not rely on non-contact probes, they can be unreliable

Connect all the grounds together.
Connect live white to the fan/light white.
Connect the live black to the switch white.
Connect the switch black to the light blue.
If you want the fan also switched connect the fan black to the switch black also.
If you want the fan not switched connect the fan black to the live black and the switch white.
