Question

Ceiling Fan support

Greetings all,
I posted this in construction but never got a reply so I will try it here.
When framing with metal for drywall what is the best way to shim and attach boxes to mount ceiling fans from? Will be using 1/2" drywall.
Thanks

Run some lumber for the box installs; sheet metal won't be strong enough.
