Ceiling fan question
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to reverse rotation of a ceiling fan. This fan hangs very high from a cathedral ceiling. I managed to get at it with a 12 ft step ladder and carefully inspected it and there is no switch to reverse. I could not even find the manufacturer's name. It has a toggle wall switch with a slide type speed control much like a typical light switch w/dimmer. It is a high quality fan. The doctor im trying to help says he managed to reverse it once by messing with the wall switch. Any Idea's??? |

Ceiling fan questionQuote:
Don't go switching wires around randomly, at best you won't accomplish anything and at worst you'll create an unsafe situation. Try posting more information about the fan model and such. Any numbers at all or pictures might help. |

Ceiling fan question
Thanks for the reply gigs, I know switching wires around would not accomplish anything. I asked the doctor to look for the IOM that came with it...no hope there, they dont even know where they purchased it from!
