Ceiling fan lights won't turn on

Replaced a bad pull chain light switch on a fan 5 light fixture. The switch is twisted to blue and white wires coming out of the fan and another blue wire. All white wires (5) are twisted together and all black wires (5) are also twisted together. Fan/Lights are controlled by a wall switch. When I turned the wall switch on, the fan will run but the lights will not turn on. The fan and light fixture are both Casablanca. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

The fan pullchain switch shouldn't typically go to a blue and white. I'm pretty sure the leads for the pullchain should go to a black and a blue. I'm guessing that your pullchain switch was turned off and that is why the lights wouldn't turn on at the wall switch. (Which is a good thing too because if I'm interpreting this correctly, which might have shorted it out hot to neutral.)

There should be two leads coming off the pullchain switch. One should go to a blue wire/wires and one lead should to to a group of 5 blacks.

Continuity check on light switch with meter was ok. Getting power to fan since it works but don't believe the lights are getting power. The wall switch for the fan/lights is a Tecmaster Ceiling Fan Dual Speed Control Switch that lets you turn the light on and off, and adjust the room lighting the full range of settings (dimmer) It also lets you turn the fan on and off and set the fan speed.

Maybe problem with wall switch control. Any good way to trouble shoot the wall light switch for problems. Thanks.
