Question

Ceiling Fan Light Quit Working

My ceiling fan light just stopped working about a month ago. The fan still works like it always has. I have replaced bulbs, and the switch. What else can I try ?

I'm not trying to offend you by asking, so please don't take it that way...but there's no reason to do a big investigation/troubleshooting time.............

Noone pulled the chain switch did they?

If not, check the connections at the light, which would mean taking the fan down.

BTW, I ask because I've had it happen

Drop the top trim ring and see if the red or blue wire has came loose that gets connected to the incoming black wire.

I have worked the chain and it still don't work. I don't think the wire could possibly come lose I have wire nuts on it then have it wrapped in electrical tape but I will try taking the fan down and checking the connection. I hope that is it though, my wife has been complaining about it every since it quit lol.
