Ceiling Fan and Light - 2 switches?
Hi there- I recently installed a ceiling fan w/light:
[wall : fixture] red - blue black - black white - white green - green Anyway, only one switch controlls both the light and the fan. I would like to seperate the two. It already looks like both switches share a black connection. However, the black from the wall is connected to the second switch but at the bottom connector where the "shared" black wire is connected. Can I simply disconnect this wall black and reconnect to the top portion of the second switch? |

I don't understand your wiring info.
Please tell us all the wires in the fan and in the swtich box.
