okay, the wife really wants to control our ceiling fan from the bed AND the wall switch. Apparently , most ceiling fan remotes don't allow you to use your wall switch anymore. A poster recommended this Lowe's item #179384 which allows you to control from either a wall switch or the remote.
Unfortunately it came with some horrible reviews. Can I maybe just fish another 14/3 from the switch to the bedside and install a 3-way switch? I'm an amateur and I'm not sure that ceiling fans can be operated from a 3-way switch. Any ideas ?
