Caravan electrics

My 1996 German built caravan has an inbuilt RCD. I have twice found that plugging in to similarly protected supplies trips the supplying rcd. One supply was a new camp ground the other was a house supply.
However other supplys also rcd protected do not trip out.
Is the problem with my van or their systems?
There seems to be no expertise available in Blenheim to answer this question
