Can you add torsion springs to a Progress P87 recessed light

Is there a way to retrofit a Progress P87 recessed light so that it can use a trim kit with torsion springs?

I want to install a AllPro LED retrofit kit and it would be a lot easy if my recessed light had torsion spring receivers but the Progress cans don' t them. Maybe I can buy a part to add to the can???

I've installed a couple of TEK screws to make those retro-fit trims work.

If you happen to find someone who sells the bracket that is usually associated with those trims, please let me know. I believe that Sylvania is working on providing a kit for use with their LED trims, but don't know if they are available for purchase as of this time.

Can you post a picture of what you are working with? Maybe you don't have the friction clips installed correctly.
