Can lights in insulated, existing construction?

Hi I'm just wondering if theres a way to install potlights in existing construction in a ceiling that has insulation. I've seen a few products for other applications, such as old construction fixtures where no insulation is present. I'm just wondering what you'd do if you cut into a ceiling and found insulation, is there any types of fixtures for old construction that allow direct contact with IC that can be shoved up and fastened through a simple potlight hole in the ceiling?

Except for a 4" can, you should not have too much trouble finding a retrofit IC rated housing.
