Generally no unless the fixture has a dimming ballast, which is unlikely.

As brric said, unless those tube lights (fluorescent is the more common term) are desinged to be dimmed...no, can't do it.

ak.89.....are you by any chance 22 years old?

So what does a 22 year old find to do in Alaska other than hunt and fish?

Most liner flourscent will not dim at all unless you get dimmable ballast plus controller AFAIK they are not cheap the last price I brougt one not too long ago in France it was 115 { Euros } and there are few verison of dimmable flourscent ballast.

However if you have screw in CFL some will work fine with dimmer only if marked to work with dimmer or say dimable.

What wattage the bulb you have on them { and length as well }

Merci,
Marc

Not a flame on you...just an observation....something to be aware of as you get into a profesional work enviornment....guys with MBA's tend to put a lot of weight on how people communicate.
