They are set screws with a heat shrink sleeve. I do a LOT of landscape lighting, and this is all I use.

So with the Ace Connectors, I can put the smaller wire in one end of the connector and the larger gauge wire goes in the other end and then heat shrink the cover over the top of it?

Can this be purchased at Lowes and/or Home Depot? I can't find it on their web sites.

Can I connect different gauges of wires ?

Thanks to everyone, I now know the connectors to use for my wiring. My next question is what is the correct order to wire it up.

When I cut the 14 gauge wire apart and separate them, on both sides, I will have 4 separate wire leads. I will also have the two wires from my low voltage light. How are these to be connected together----3 and 3? One wire from the light, one from each side of the 14 gauge wire(the matching side that was just cut)? And do this on both sides of the wire? Thanks!
