Too time consuming and unhandy for me. You can secure only one cable at a time and the staples are much more expensive.

Cable staple guns

I use to use the one from PowerFast. I liked it especially when I had to staple to the OSB webs of joists. I have used them with 2 flat cables and for phone and TV cables too. I like the speed, but the staples are expensive.

I just bought the GB one. Only problem is just getting use to the staple coming out in a different spot compared to the Power Fast one.

I have the Powerfast one. I like it but I don't use it all of the time. It is good for reaching up into places that you can't use both hands to nail a staple into. I also have the Powerfast model for low voltage cable. That is really good and has several different sizes for different cable types.

I prefer buying the staples that you hammer in. I've used a regular staple gun before, but I'm always nervous that I miss a bit and the staple goes through the wire. Best to just do it by hand.

I use the GB one. I love it for tight spaces. The staples are much more money though.

I use the powerfast one... I really wish they would make a forward tilting push though. Squeezing the handle tends to tillt the gun away from the cable instead of into it.

I've used one. Don't remember what brand and since the boss was buying staples I didn't care what they cost. Sure beats mashed fingers.
