Cable shielding

I am running a 14/2 cable through a space shared by the water heater and hvac exhaust. Is there a recommended type of cable with shielding when doing this?
Thanks in advance.

Cable shielding

Not sure of any type of special cable but regular non-metallic cable should be kept a sufficient distance from anything with excessive heat. I would keep it away from the exhaust ducts and run it in another stud/joist bay.

Thanks for the response, I want to clarify its actually the exhaust pipe within the wall leading out to the roof.
