Broken light fitting or switch. After tripping.


After replace light globe not expecting it to be in th eon position, it shorted and tripped RCD. Reset RCD and replace globe 3 times eaach time with a different globe. Switched on and not working each time. Any suggestions either fitting or switch replacement it is also on a dimmer.

It most likely fried the dimmer. With the RCD off while doing this test, take the line and load wires off of the dimmer and temporarily connect them together and see if that fixes your problem. If this doesn't work you may have permanently opened an already loose connection somewhere in the wiring between the panel and the light fixture.
