broken electric feed wire

Hi, I recently had some leech bed work done, while excavating they snagged the power feed to me out building. (Yeah I know, should have had area check for lines.) Anyway, its the 3 wire service supply and all 3 wires were cut. They set in soil that is always wet. Thats why they were digging in that area. How can I fix my supply lines? I would think using split bolts to peice the wire back together, but how can I keep them from getting wet? Would rubber tape work? Its about an 85 ft run and I don't want to dig it all up.
Thanks for any and all help.

What is the size of the wire? They make splice kits for different size wire, there is 3m. They make a Heat Shrink Repair Kit that keeps water out, You might need 6 of them

Do you have some kind of trojan or spyware that makes you do that? Or are you just spamming?

What size wires are you dealing with? If it were me, I would run a new feeder out there and put it in PVC conduit. Make sure you pull THWN. If the conductors are large, you can repair them. The utility repairs direct burial cable all the time.
If you do go for the repair. make absolutely sure the connection is designed for your application. WET!

Thanks for the replies. Its #6 wire to the building service panel. It was here when I bought the house. The wiring is actually to small for the 100 amp panel, but I never use anything other than outlets and light circuit. It was put in for an RV I believe. So if I can splice it with a kit do I still need split bolts or is everything included that I would need?
Again thanks for the help.

Do you realize that the words "except for the torch" are linked to some kind of weird preloaded search?
