breakers ~ how many outlets/lights to a 15 amp?

breakers ~ how many outlets/lights to a 15 amp breaker?

does that number change much if it is a 20 amp breaker?
how about a gfci or afci?

The NEC , in dwellings, does not specify receptacle or lighting outlets per branch circuit. Generally in the many years of personal installation, suggested allowance for 14 awg was, 10 receptacles and 12 awg, was 13 receptacles, including 60w luminaires in each bedroom keeping in mind not to over lamp numerous 150w lights on one branch circuit.

Same can be applicable to AFCI and GFCI that have standard receptacles that are downstream protected.
