Breaker Question

I bought a house and trying to make things right.Well the previous owner had the well drilled and pressure tank and all the works installed.I don't know electric so my dad will do the work when he gets back from vacation.I would like to get all the things I need to have on hand when he gets back. The previous owner instead of using a double pull breaker wired it up using two single breakers side by side this being the wire that goes from the breaker box down to the pressure switch. The breakers are both single 15 amp breakers.Do I pick up a double pole 30 amp breakers or a 15 amp double to replace the two single 15's.

If you want to replace it you need a double pole 15amp. You don't need to replace it. You can buy a handle tie the lock them together.
