breaker question

i came home to find a circuit out but the breaker was not kicked. it does not kick off when reset, but i still get no power to the circuit. do i replace the breaker? i've seen one go bad before but it just kept kicking off. circuit is just lights and a few outlets and has never kicked off before.

breaker question

Could you possibly not have power to one side of your panel? (If it is 220). That happened to me one time when a line broke about 3 blocks away. Drove me crazy for about 4 hours.HS.
