Question

breaker help

The house is 28 years old. The breaker is brand new. If we turn a switch on it flips the breaker. If we plug somthing up in one of the outlets it flips the breaker. What is wrong? We have been going for 2 hours and haven't figured anything out. Any and all help will be appreciated.

breaker help

Is this a GFCI or AFCI breaker, by chance? If so, I already know your problem.

breaker help

Which one? You just installed this breaker, right? Can you describe the procedure you used? Did you move the neutral for that circuit over to the breaker also?
