Question

Breaker Box problems

I have a detached garage on my house and it has a 100 amp service. About a month ago I had lightning go through my house and got several TVs and my garage door out side. I replaced them and thought everything was okay. This past week ever other role of my breakers went out. I though it was the breaker in my house so I replaced it, that wasn't the deal. A friend came over and said I was missing a leg on my box, and he though maybe it was the lightning deal, he also said I was suppose to use copper and not alumi wire. I am also missing a inspection sticker from the state inspector that I guess wasn't done by the contractor. ( who is gone) What should I do, should I call my insurance company back and what about the sticker? let a licensed contractor fix the problem through insurance..any ideal?

Breaker Box problems

How was the panel fed?
Was it in conduit, or burial cable.
If it was in conduit, you can pul the wire nd replace it.
Al. is fine to use.
