book recommendations

I have a few not-so-complicated wiring projects coming up in my house that I know I can do, I'm just not sure how to...

For example, the switch to the kitchen light is at the opposite end of the kitchen from the door and I want to add a second switch next to the door.

We also have two switches for our upstairs hall lights, and need to add a third.

Not horribly complicated projects, but having a reference book would be nice so that I only have to do them once!

Does anyone have a favorite book that they would recommend?
