Black & Decker MM550 lawn mower

Four wires from the motor: Black, orange, white & red. Orange is the plug terminal There are 4 terminals on the switch. Where do the black, white, red , and the separate black plug terminal go?

Black & Decker MM550 lawn mower

What do you mean by plug terminal? All 4 wires run to the motor? Or do two run to the motor and two to the power cord?

Does the mower have two different speeds?

This page has a diagram that is probably also applicable to your mower: http://www.tehhouse.us/electrical/la...andd/index.php
