bidding elecrical jobs.


my friend that is a licensed electrician would like to know the average rate per hour for him and one helper to bid on electrical rewire jobs.

What does it cost your friend per hour to do business? How much does he need to charge to cover insurance, salaries, taxes etc?

My guess is the friend is not an EC.

he is licensed and has a regular 40hr. job, he does this for extra money and hopes in the future to have his own business.also he has a very good reputation for doing things right.he was only wanting to know an hourly rate that is average

Just because he has an electrical license, does not mean he has a business license and insurance. It is illegal......

yes he is bonded and here you are not required to have a business license only permits.he only does this part time has has a guy that is experienced that helps when he needs help.
