And the damn offices are 74 degrees and these women STILL have space heaters going under their desks.

Don't count out the local supply house. I'm just a DIYer but have gotten a better price per foot for 12/3 from the supply house than what it cost to get a 50 or 100 foot roll from HD or Lowes. Doesnt hurt to call and ask how much per foot.

No spaces heaters in our house. We already pay about $400 a month to keep the house a balmy 60 degrees. I'm not adding to that bill with space heaters!

I do love my Dyson though! lol

We're going to go 14 for the lights, and 12 for the plugs, seems reasonable to me.

Like anything else, the more you buy, the cheaper you'll pay. I've found Lowes usually has the best price. If you go on eBay, you can buy a 10% off coupon for a dollar or so, and take another $10-$20 off the price.

I ended up buying 250 feet of 14 gauge, but found I probably would have been better off with 12 gauge. My house was done in 12 gauge, so I ended up having to change a few breakers over to 15 amp when I added new runs. I also bought a 25 foot roll of 12 gauge to add a couple outlets in the garage, and found how useless that was. You'll need A LOT of wire for even simple wire runs due to slack and leaving enough to pull the outlets/switches out of the box.
