Triple switch available at big box stores and places that sell vent fans. Same isle as the fans.

They're called "Despard Switches"

If this is what it sounds like, you have 2 switches, 1 for vent and 1 for the light. You can use a "despard" vent light switch or use a "duggle" switch in its place. I have drawn a pic for you and this is what I understand, if not, sorry.

You may have this situation:
Sounds like you have a 14-3 from the fixture to your switch. The neutral is made to the V/L in the j-box. The hot is carried down to the switch connecting to the switch black. The whit and red are commonly a switch leg back to the VL.

A duggle switch has one side with 2 screws connected to each other, this side is the hot. The other side has 2 screws not connected together, these are the switch legs which you would connect the white to one screw and the red to the other.

Hope this helps.

Forgot... if you need a night light, pick you up a plug in light with a photocell on it..
