Bathroom Light and fan switch
I am trying to install new switches in my bathroom. We live in a manufactured home so the boxes I took out look nothing like what I am trying to put in. The outlet boxes taken out just had prongs in the back that the wires pushed in between. There are 4 sets of wires 2 or 3 ( i am not good with the tester) seem to be live. One switch controls the fan annd the other the light.. Now when I took the boxes out there was also a short wire connecting the two together. I am in need of help as I have tried quite a few ways. For the moment, everything is wired and if the switches are off, the breaker does not blow but the light and fan are on. As soon as I try to flip the switch, the breaker blows.
