Bathroom Exhaust, light, heater switch

While attempting to replace an old switch to bathroom exhaust, I found,,, old switch has 2 neutral, and two hot legs, one jumper from neutral to hot. new 3 pole switches have only one hot. For now no configuration works. Really do not want to have to rewire entire circuit.:jester:

Normally a switch would not control a neutral. The neutral should be unswitched.

You are going to need to determine the function of each wire and we can go from there. Do you have a test meter?

I'm guessing it was 1 hot/3 switch legs....no neutral. Just because the wire has white insulation doesn't mean its a neutral.

Yes, The back of the old switch has 3 hot feeds, 3 neutral feeds. Bottom and top are used and middle are jumped from top and bottom in X pattern. I have been told these switches are no longer available. The new ones only have one feed in and 3 out. While i have not taken the time to trace each wire to fan/light/heater itself. I understand how each works. While not licensed, i do understand the basics, and have done several projects inc. 3way, etc. Been in home building for about 25 years but this one has been a headache. Contacting a local friend, (local licensed el. cont) Thanks, i just like figuring this out on my own with assistance from sites as this if i can. But, SAFETY FIRST!

Millions of tires wear out every day?? Where does the rubber go? Should be piled up on sides of road like snow in winter.
