bathroom cabinet

Any of you ever put receptacles inside a wall cabinet in a bathroom? I think it would be a good way to hide electric tooth brushes/chargers. If so, any thing special to consider(other than gfci)?

Thanks for comments!

Couple of times this was done. If the appliance cord is long enough, you can do it. One time we installed a receptacle inside of a drawer for a curling iron. It was a horrible idea and I'm surprised it passed. Counter top outlets are there because it is a convenient height.

Why was it a horrible idea and why are you surprised it passed? We are considering doing this in our remodel for the same reason as the OP-- lots of chargers.

Maybe the idea wasn't horrible but the execution was. It's probably a lot easier with romex. We had to use sealtite and a gem box.

Just give yourself enough slack so that even if you yank that drawer open or slam it closed, the wires are not going to pop out or get pinched.
