bath fan and light wired together - any issue?

I bought a combo bath fan/light/nightlight (NuTone QTN110LE).

Although the wiring diagram shows each circuit (fan/light/nightlight) wired separately to independent switches, I wired up the lights (two 18 watt fluorescent) together with the fan (33.5 watts), with a single 14 gauge wire to a single switch. (I joined the fan and light wires together in the fan housing and connected them in a single wire nut to the hot lead from the switch, same with the neutral, and all the grounds (fan/light/nightlight) together).

(I'll run the nightlight separately to an occupancy switch when I get time).

The fan and lights work fine. But I just thought I'd ask the experts here if there are any issues with doing that.

Here's the install guide

No problem-o. You can wire the entire thing to one switch if you so desire.

I see that done in small office installations around here all the time.
