Basic Books / NEC copy

Hello;

Hope everyone is well. I've been busy with many projects. An person I know is buying a old home and wants to tackle the re-wire themselves. I have given them some direction and mentioned the forum here.

Is there also a good book that goes over the basics that I can suggest to them?

Do you know if there is still a place where you can download a free copy of the NEC online?

Thanks Guys!

Jamie

My building inspector recommended that I get the "Dewalt Electrical Code Reference (with 2008 Changes)" and "Code Check" when I applied for my building permit.

Electrical Wiring Residential 16th Edition by Ray C. Mullin. Covers everything to wire a single family dwelling including the 2008 code that requires it to be that way!
