Basement Lighting

I am in the middle of finishing my basement and are looking at lighting ideas. The basement area is 13' x 36'. It will be used as a play room/family room. Fluorescent lighting would be the most economical but it is to bright. Would Ibe able to use recessed lighting with a suspended cieling? Is there any other lighting I can use other than Fluorescent and recessed lighting?

Basement Lighting

Yes, Recessed lighting in suspended ceilings is very common. The recessed fixtures come with expandable arms to rest on and be secured to the grid. They can also be adjusted side to side and up and down. This way you can get them positioned exactly where you want them.
