Really? I have a 17kW Generac with the 16 Circuit EZ-Switch ATS. Since I have 2 200A Panels, I have thought about using the ATS to power the circuits in one Panel and then have a manual interlock kit on the other panel so that we have 95% of our lights/outlets.

I never thought the 17kW would be able to power my 5-ton A/C unit which is in the panel that would be fed by the interlock.

I may have to try it. My power needs in the summer (the June Derecho) were much different than my power needs in the winter (Snowstorm Sandy).
