Backless Handy Boxes

Are 1-1/2" DEEP backless Handy boxes made for box extensions? All I can find at the Orange Stores are 1-7/8" and that is too deep for what I need (this box sticks out of finished wall too much - 3/8" too much), and the box inside the wall is too far back and can't be pulled forward enough to be flush.

If not available, what do you recommend?
