I just want you to know I appreciate every bit of advice you all have ever given me.
I took it and did the right thing. I have a family and dont want to kill anyone with a bad job of wiring.

I am an electromechanical technician not a licensed electrician as yourselves are. You guys are preaching the CODE. the CODE is for a reason. I dont have access to the code for free. I have access to you for free and truly appreciate it.

I used to be like your customer you had today. but after having been a home owner for 15 yrs. I know that if you hire it done and its by the right people (such as inphase, speedy, kctermite, jrclen) your getting a job done right. and you guys worked for every penny you charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!
actually, unless they changed it, you do have access to the code for free. Look up NFPA publications. I don;t remember the circuitous route I had to go to access the NEC through their website but I could view all NFPA publications for free.

they do not provide an interpreter though.

RealRead Viewer : NFPA 70 - National Electric Code - 2005 Edition

Heres the 2005 nec from the NFPA website.

You need to register a free account there and log in to view the different documents.

I just bookmarked the above link so I don't have to log in all the time.

The hard players have the nerve to ask, "Why?"

Answer A: Instinct
Answer B: I don't wish to say.
