when was the first year California required Arc Fault Breakers in new residential buildings

Arc Fault Breakers


If you need to know for a specific building, call the planning department having jurisdiction.
My county adopted the 2001 CEC in 2002 and had a November 1, 2002 date on the Bedroom AFCI's.
