Another RTH8500 thermostat

Hi and thanks. Sorry current inquiries don't match my situtation? AC is not coming on, despite thermosat working as per set up instructions.
Trying to install this model:
Current wires available:
Green
White
Black
Orange
Red

Thermostat options; Conventional installation (no heating pump) - just AC and furnace.
R
RC - jumpered to R
W
Y
G
C

Y2
W2

Hooked:
Orange to RC
Red to R
White to W
Black to Y
Green to G

Previous thermostat had orange wire taped off.

Thanks in advance.
