Aluminum Wiring

I would like to change the outlets and switches in my house. I have aluminum wiring and was told by someone at Lowe's that I can use the regular copper outlets, but that I need to use an antioxidant agent. Is this accurate information? If so, is this something I need to re-apply every so often?

Another idiot who think he knows electrical. You MUST use receptacles the are rated AL and the anti oxident.

You use AL rated devices or pigtail copper to the AL and use the correct wire nuts. The purple ones with the antioxidant already filled into the wire nut. I believe the part number for the wire nuts is 30-365. Ideal. They are listed for AL/CU connection.

Thank you so much. I had my doubts, but glad I double checked.
