Allis Chalmers AC Motor HP=600 RPM=3570 V=2300

I am looking for RTD's installation details for Inboard and Outboard Bearings for an Allis Chalmers AC Motor Type GSC, HP=600, RPM=3570, V=2300 A=132, S/N= 1-15116-13427-1-2

Existing schematic shows 2 RTD's (2 wire) per bearing but I need details od installation to replace RTD's.

Thank you

This forum is probably not the most helpful or this sort of thing. In fact, no forum is likely to turn up the literature you want - you'll have to go straight to the manufacturer. Too bad they're out of business... I'd say you're on your own to replace those. The good thing is that it's not very critical. Any RTD that will work with your monitoring equipment and can be physically attached to the bearing housing should work fine. It doesn't have to be an exact match to be good enough.

What installation details? You install the sensors (RTD's) of your choice and connect it to a temperature controller. Then you can use the temperature controller to display temp or act on temp.
There should be wells for the sensor probe to reside/insert in on each bearing cap. Install the sensors and run the wires back to the controller. Then incorporate the temp controller into the control scheme or use it for a visual readout.
Make sure you have RTD's and not thermocouples or thyristors. Thermocouples require a special combination of wires to work properly.
