Alarm system quality or features ??

I need some input on this. I like the idea of using a quality system, I'm looking at Ademco.
However it does not do what I want it to do. I do not have a land line and do not want one. I know I can buy cellular adaptors, but they will only call a monitoring station.
There is a so called low quality system on the E-place

EBAYS MOST ADVANCED WIRELESS HOME SECURITY SYSTEM ALARM - eBay (item 260599095086 end time Jul-06-10 18:38:47 PDT)

It uses a sim card and will call up to 5 numbers. I really can't make up my mind. How about some input pro's and con's.

I'm not sure why the major manufacturers will not make a sim card capable unit but I have my suspicions.

You should be able to connect a unit like this to the Ademco box. Try one of the DIY alarm forums.

Hey Keith, thanks for the response. I do not know what unit you are referring to?? I've tried the forums and must have missed something? Keep in mind I do not have a landline phone and I do not want to connect to a monitoring center.
