Adding second light fixture in bathroom

Currently have one light fixture and one switch. Want to add a second light fixture operated by a second switch. Want to locate both switches together (remove single switch box and install double switch). Can I pull power from existing switch and if so, how do I make connections?

Adding second light fixture in bathroom

It may or may not be possible. You will need to look at the existing switch and determine how many wires are in the box, what color they are, and which ones are connected to the switch.

Adding second light fixture in bathroom

Thanks HouseHelper. Completed the wiring today. Found one set of 12/2 wires which was hot and another set which went to the existing light fixture. Ran my new 12/2 wire for the second fixture, connected everything up and wallah!, everthing works as planned. Appreciate the help.
