Adding Receptacles Transition Inside Corner

Looking at the photo, what I want to do is put a J-Box & duplex receptacle(shown in red) so that I can plug in items on that side of the wall(cable modem & lawn sprinkler) into that duplex.

Also that J-Box(in red) will be used to feed other downstream basement receptacles at a later date.

I'll grab power for the new duplex from the load side of a GFCI. The GFCI is not visible in the photo but is underneath the 6-way adaptor at the lower right side of the panel.

My question is what is the best way span the area in yellow in the photo to run the wire to the new J-Box/Duplex?

Would you use a stub of EMT from the current J-Box/GFCI-------->to an EMT Inside Pull Elbow-------->stub of EMT-----------> new J-Box/Duplex.

Or can flexible metal conduit be used from the current J-Box/GFCI to the new J-Box/Duplex?

I'd use flex, ac, mc, or even nm if I'm in a pinch. Just make sure you use the appropriate connectors.

well I know NM cable is not the right way to do it because of physical protection but I like the idea of the flex

What about a 90 degree piece of EMT from the GFI box to the new box?

Oh yeah you made the troll comment which I still do not understand why my height makes a difference and how you know I'm short in stature?

@SD515: I guess I can see if I can get a piece of 1/2 EMT bent in there. Worth a shot.

Stop spewing crap, I didn't say anything about your height nor you stature. If you respond to this you will be asking for a thread derailment
