Adding Pool Lighting to Existing Pool

I have a steel pool that I need to replace the liner in and I'd like to install an underwater light before I replace the liner. From what I've read so far it sounds like I need to use fiber optic lighting...anyone have any experience doing this?

I have never installed a pool light. I have only wired them. Pool guys are the experts, I'd let them do it.

A light at the pool wall is MUCH more involved to wire, I can tell you that with certainty.

IMO the safest way is get ahold of pool guys whom install or work on the pool luminaires they are very picky with installment.
