adding an outlet
I live in a 1930's house and there are very few outlets. There are baseboard heaters throughout although I removed the thermostats as I switched to gas logs. I was going to add outlets where each baseboard heater is, but my first attempt didn't work. Does the thermostat I removed have anything to do with the current to the heater? Thanks for any help....my daughter's room is a maze of extension cords .
Just how much do you know about electricty?
Do you know if those old basebard heaters where 220 or 110 volt.
Has the breaker been replaced before you tryed this?
What type wiring do you have?
You have no idea, do not touch it, get a pro to come take a look at what your tying to do.
